This is fun to get the kids to help with! If you do all the cutting and get them to make personalised kebabs, yum!
Ingredients:
- Skewers
- Choice of fruits
Method:
- Slice fruit in similar sizes and stick on skewer
- Choice of freezing the fruit or having it fresh
Avocado Brownies
- 1 large avocado
- ½ cup unsweetened apple sauce
- ½ cup maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 large eggs
- ½ cup coconut flour
- ½ cup unsweetened Dutch-processed (so it’s not bitter) cocoa powder
- ¼ teaspoon sea salt
- 1 tsp baking soda
Method:
- Preheat oven to 180 degrees
- Blend avocado, apple sauce, syrup and vanilla extract
- Pour into a bowl and whisk eggs
- Add in cocoa, coconut flour, sea salt and baking soda and stir until well-combined
- Grease an 8 x 8 cake dish with coconut oil and pour batter in
- Place in oven for 25 minutes, depending whether you like fudgier brownies maybe less time, or more of a cake-like brownie keep in oven for longer
- Serve as desired.
